THX: Warehouse Operative Opportunity
THX is a fast-growing tool hire business serving the UK construction industry, and we're looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Operative to join our afternoon/evening team in Great Barford. If you like being active, working with your hands, and being part of a close-knit team, this could be a great next step.
Working Hours
12.00pm - 10.00pm Monday to Friday
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Restocking and organising hire equipment across the warehouse and yard safely
- Picking, loading and unloading equipment ready for dispatch
- Preparing new equipment for the fleet — branding, tagging and logging it on our system
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe
- Recording accurate stock and equipment information on our system
- Pitching in to support the Workshop and Transport teams when needed
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous hands-on experience of working in a busy warehouse environment
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working at pace in a physical, hands-on role
- Good attention to detail, even with repetitive tasks
- A reliable and motivated team player
- A safety-first approach to work
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to work safely, quickly and methodically
- Comfortable using computers/handheld devices for stock systems
