About The Role
Pertemps North Midlands seeks Warehouse Operative (Afternoons) staff for its Burton upon Trent site, working alongside DHL. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent contract pays £13.50 to £14.20 hourly. Shifts run Sunday through Thursday, 2pm until 10pm, with possible extensions when demand increases. Duties involve operating a LLOP truck to pick drinks orders, including alcohol, so applicants must accept repetitive tasks. Prior warehouse or logistics experience is essential, as is LLOP driving or order picking background. A solid grasp of English helps ensure accurate picking. Warehouse Operative (Afternoons)
Pertemps are working in partnership with DHL and we are recruiting for ongoing Warehouse operatives on their afternoon shift who will operate a LLOP truck to order pick drinks which will include handling alcohol. Due to the nature of the job it is imperative that candidates are happy with repetitive work.
The successful candidates will have to pass a pre employment drug test.
Shift Pattern / Working Hours
- Sunday to Thursday
- 2pm to 10pm but shifts can be extended during busy periods
- Easily commutable by public transport or car
The Successful Warehouse Operative (Afternoons) Will
- Have previously worked in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Have experience as a LLOP driver or order picker
- Good level of English to ensure orders are picked correctly

Your Duties As a Warehouse Operative (Afternoons) Will Include

- Ensuring orders are picked correctly, first time.
- General duties as assigned by team leader and shift manager
You Will Receive
- £13.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks
- £14.20 per hour after 12 weeks
