About the Role
The main purpose of Warehouse Operatives is to manage the movement of goods across all sectors and distances for a range of customers, from private individuals to sole traders and through to large global organisations. They have a passion for meeting customers' expectations by providing a quality service that encourages repeat business.
Duties
- Adhering to Health & safety in a warehouse environment
- Teamwork & building relationships with various departments
- Receipt, control, storage, and dispatch of goods/stock
- Safe use of equipment, pump truck, and machinery
- Goods flow
- Product handling
- IT and digital input and management
- Stock control
- Bespoke training programmes

Apprenticeship Details
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
- Apprenticeship Minimum Wage
- Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
Your programme will be approximately 8-14 months in duration, and you will receive workshops in the following areas:
- Health & safety in a warehouse environment
- Teamwork & building relationships
- Receipt, control, storage, and dispatch of goods/stock
- Task organisation
- Safe use of equipment, vehicles, and machinery
- Goods flow
- Product handling

End-Point Assessment (EPA)
The EPA consists of an interview with a portfolio of evidence and an observation with questions.
