About the Role
This role is varied and you will be working throughout different areas of the warehouse, covering a multitude of warehouse duties.
Some heavy lifting will be required at times due to the nature of the business.
- Accurately checking off all incoming deliveries
- Picking customer orders, working from a picking sheet
- Putting away stock into pick/bulk locations, maximising space, and storage facilities
- Replenishment of pick locations
- Recognise and understand the product numbers and stock in the warehouse
- Picking orders in line with priorities and customer requirements
- Accurately pack orders in line with priorities and customer requirements, ensuring daily dispatch deadlines are met
- Packing orders in accordance with timeframes, ensuring correct packaging standards are met
- Ensure all working areas are kept clean and tidy in accordance with Health & Safety procedures
- Un-load, check and unpack ‘goods in’ deliveries in conjunction with ‘Goods In’ Manager
- Assist with stock management and stock control, re-filling shelves from overstock areas as necessary
- Assist with planning and organisation within the warehouse
- Meet and maintain established production standards and schedules
- Work safely and report any unsafe equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Perform duties independently with minimum direction
- Responsible for tidiness and cleanliness within all warehouse work areas and aisles. Including external areas of the building including loading bays and car park areas
- Assist with annual and interim stock takes
- Keep the management informed of any problems
- Operate a forklift truck which will require training
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to meet deadlines
- Awareness of lifting & handling and Health & Safety policies and procedures. Training will be given on the induction and updated annually per employee.

This is a permanent role completing 39.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Salary - £25,377.48 per year.
