Warehouse Operative - Forklift Driver
Pay: £13.46 per hour (£28,000 per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Forklift Licence: Required
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy food ingredients business. This is a hands-on role covering goods in, goods out and general warehouse duties. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and checking deliveries
- Booking stock onto the internal system
- Picking orders for dispatch
- Ensuring all stock is stored and rotated correctly
- Supporting production by moving and replenishing raw materials and packaging as required

You will play an important role in maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficiently. The role will involve:
- Carrying out regular stocktakes
- Following FIFO stock rotation
- Preparing and securing pallets for dispatch
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
- Operating the forklift
- Carrying out basic equipment checks
