About The Role

A Warehouse Operative / Driver is required for a permanent, full-time position based in Manchester, paying £13 per hour. This role involves managing stock within the warehouse, accurately logging items in and out using in-house software, and processing incoming deliveries. The successful candidate will also handle the preparation and delivery of parts to various locations across Greater Manchester, supporting a trusted property maintenance company.

Key skills include previous warehouse experience, a valid driving licence, and proficiency with computerised stock systems. The working pattern is 20 hours per week, with flexibility on which days are worked. A full driving licence is essential for this dual-purpose role.

About The Company

They are one of Manchester’s most trusted property maintenance companies, providing fast, reliable repairs for homeowners, landlords and commercial clients across Greater Manchester.

Responsibilities

Due to continued growth, they are recruiting for warehouse operative/ Driver staff to join their team — will be based at the office/ warehouse and will be responsible for the following:

The Role

  • Ensuring stock in the warehouse is kept up to date and logged in and out using our own in-house software
  • Ensure deliveries are received and logged
  • Ensure parts are ready to go out for engineers
  • Ensure vehicle logs are kept up to date and manage servicing and MOT dates for vehicles
  • Collecting and delivering assets and deliveries throughout the country
  • There will be a vehicle available for us at the office/ warehouse for deliveries/collections

What They Are Looking For

  • Computer alliterate to manage stock and parts on a computer system
  • No more than 6 points on your license
  • Physically fit enough to be able to load and unload vehicles and move deliveries etc
