About The Role

All Square Recruitment is excited to partner with a market-leading client based in Dunmow, Essex, to recruit reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives. Starting on a full-time temporary basis, this role offers the genuine opportunity to progress to a permanent contract for the right candidates, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking long-term stability within a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage goods in/out, unloading deliveries, checking incoming stock, and storing items correctly within the warehouse.
  • Carry out accurate order picking, selecting high-value products and components for daily dispatch.
  • Handle packing and loading duties, securely packing fragile items to prevent damage and assisting with the safe loading of delivery vehicles.
  • Maintain stock accuracy through regular inventory checks and an organised shelving system.
  • Prioritise health and safety at all times, adhering to manual handling guidelines and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
  • Coordinate effectively with the wider warehouse team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle fragile or high-value materials carefully.
  • Good physical fitness, with the ability to manage heavy lifting and remain active throughout the shift.
  • Excellent punctuality and reliability, essential for a 7:30am start.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to manage paperwork and coordinate with the team.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is desirable, though all dedicated applicants are welcome to apply.
  • Own transport is preferred, as the site has limited public transport links.
