Compensation: £27,976 / month
Description
Based onsite in Poole, Dorset
- 5 days a week | Monday - Friday 10:30 - 19:00
- 40 Hours a week
To support the efficient operation of the warehouse within by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods accurately and safely. Ensure materials are moved and handled effectively to meet production and customer delivery schedules. The role requires a good level of physical fitness, as it involves manual handling, standing for long periods, and moving goods of varying sizes and weights in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To understand the business and its operation, ensuring that you keep up to date on all aspects of the job.
- To ensure that you carry out assigned tasks in an accurate, safe and timely manner following company procedures at all times.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- To pick, pack and despatch orders ensuring that the highest standard of accuracy is maintained, and all merchandise is packed in such a way to minimise the likelihood of damage whilst ensuring they will reach the customer with their integrity preserved.
- Assist in stock control, cycle counting, and regular stocktakes.
- To ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures, adhering to any Health & Safety rules applicable, whilst keeping up to date with company operating procedures.
- Also ensuring that you follow your training continuously to guarantee a safe working environment, whilst being responsible for your own actions within the workplace.
- To constantly maintain your warehouse working area ensuring that damaged goods are re boxed if necessary whilst all areas are kept clean and free from hazards, old stock, and debris etc.
- Store materials in designated areas following proper storage practices and safety guidelines.
- To undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by your line manager or any other service Manager/Director within Poole Bay Holdings Management Ltd.
