Position: Team Expert
Location: Biggleswade
Shift: Inbound - Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm (NO weekends)
What is your role?
As a Team Expert, you will support the day-to-day running of our Inbound shift. Ensuring all customer orders are met maximizing efficiency and quality.
You will be responsible for:
- Making sure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Ensuring vehicles are loaded safely and correctly
- Ensuring all stock is claimed and put away in line with KPIs
Provide leadership and operate as a role model, offering support and motivating small teams of logistics operators.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure all team members follow all processes/procedures correctly and feedback to supervisors on potential improvements points
- Report progress updates, key achievements, and any concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Act as the team expert and provide training support and be the first point of contact for queries from colleagues
- Follow company procedures, ensuring that best practices are observed, and safe systems of work are always followed
- Motivate and focus staff to achieve set targets and a high-quality service to our customers

Your Team

Who are you?
For this job we have a couple of requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally leading a small team of people; use of scanning equipment
- Experience of driving a forklift truck (licenses are an advantage but not essential as we provide full training)
- A focused and motivated individual with a desire to progress and develop
- Embraces change and finds new ways of doing things
- A keen eye for detail and a sound understanding of right first time
- Strong communication skills with a mature and professional approach
- A flexible attitude to working hours
