Job Overview
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30 with flexibility for holiday cover Up to 6 months, subject to extension.
We are hiring a Warehouse Operative who will have a key role within our Logistics Team and report to the Stock & Systems Manager. Working both individually and part of a team, the main focus of this role is to assist in the management of the stock inventory for Damart UK via the warehouse management data systems, tools and processes.
There is a need in this role to use mechanical handling equipment and work at heights, with a view to working towards gaining a forklift truck licence.

Key Areas of Responsibility
- Work closely with the team to implement stock management procedures
- Maximising stock accuracy via system checks and stock reconciliation
- Foster an open approach and communication style with peers and colleagues and challenge/investigate stock inaccuracies
- Work closely with the operations stock manager on sub projects to maintain stock files without compromising customer service
- Ensure Health and Safety policy and procedures are adhered to
- Perform other duties as requested, if necessary, in other areas of the warehouse
- Flexibility to work and to learn new skills within other areas of the warehouse

A flexible, confident individual to lead problem solving activities but equally able to escalate issues when necessary.
