Warehouse Operative / Forklift Truck Driver Opportunity
Excellent opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Truck Driver for the leading manufacturer of global health and beauty products in the UK.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives/Forklift Truck drivers in Alton.
The rate of pay is £17.80 per hour.
This role offers continental night shifts: 7 shifts in a 2-week rotating pattern. Working every second weekend.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role is required
- A valid counterbalance forklift truck licence is essential
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, providing supply and stock control of materials to support the Production and Manufacturing schedules at the warehouse.
- Ensuring that all deliveries and despatches of stock are managed accurately and safely.
- The safe operation of an electric forklift truck.
- Keeping basic documentation and simple recording of electronic data.
- Working across a range of areas on site both in and outdoors.
- Ensuring stock levels are kept in a safe and orderly fashion across the site to maximize space.
- Maintaining a well-kept work environment where unused materials are stored properly.
- Following Health and Safety protocols and complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Working Instructions (SWIs) at all times.

Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal worker will have previous experience within a warehouse environment, alongside an understanding of product control, handling, and distribution.
- Comfortable using computer systems to retrieve, update, and input data onto stock control systems.
- A basic level of numeracy and literacy.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and multitask in order to manage their workload.
- Physically fit to meet the demands of the role - This includes lifting, bending, and basic manual handling.
- A valid counterbalance Forklift Truck licence is essential.
