Warehouse Operative - Lorient - Newton Abbot

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a successful manufacturing business where your skills are valued and rewarded? Do you enjoy working as part of a team?
Are you reliable, hardworking, and ready to be part of a busy and supportive logistics team? We're looking for a Warehouse Operative who holds a Counterbance FLT licences and takes pride in doing a great job and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something different.
Whether you already have warehouse experience or you're looking to build a career in logistics, we'd love to hear from you. Full training is provided, and we'll support you every step of the way.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our products move efficiently through the warehouse and reach our customers on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and unloading deliveries safely and accurately
- Checking incoming goods against delivery paperwork and reporting any issues
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Labelling and packaging products to ensure safe transportation
- Supporting stock control activities and inventory checks
- Loading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety policies and procedures
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
- Supporting new starters and contributing to a positive team culture

What We're Looking For
We're interested in people with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high standards.
Essential Skills
- Good attention to detail
- Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and regularly lift items up to 20-25kg
Desirable Experience
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience using handheld scanners or inventory systems
