About The Role

Warehouse Operative positions are available in Lutterworth at Magna Park, LE17, through Rapier Employment. This full-time, temporary contract pays £13.33 to £20 per hour, with wages settled every Friday. The shift pattern follows a 4-on, 4-off rota from 6am to 6pm. Duties involve operating Powered Pallet Trucks to load and unload vehicles, handling chilled supermarket goods for prominent UK brands. Full instruction on PPT use is supplied. The workplace is a busy distribution hub, and consistent performance may lead to a permanent role. Candidates should possess reliability, physical stamina for cooler temperatures, and comfort working within a structured team. Prior warehouse experience assists, though it is not essential, given comprehensive training is offered.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 Off 6am till 6pm

Pay: £13.33/hour

Pay Schedule: Weekly Pay (Every Friday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate PPTs to load and unload vehicles.
  • Work within a chilled warehouse environment.
  • Move pallets of fresh chilled produce for supermarket distribution.
  • Use handheld scanners for inventory management and stock tracking.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Carry out general warehouse duties as required.
  • Handball products and break down pallets when necessary, which may involve heavy lifting.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong warehouse experience
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations
  • Previous experience in chilled environments
  • Ability to pass an on site drug and alcohol test (breathalyser and mouth swab).
  • Physically fit and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong and stable work history.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Not suitable for students or individuals seeking part-time work.
  • Must live locally or have reliable transport to Magna Park, Lutterworth (LE17).
  • Previous PPT experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
