Location: Feering
Pay: £13.50–£14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm

We are recruiting for a Warehouse & Operations Assistant to join a specialist supplier of fuel system equipment and road tanker parts.

This is a hands-on warehouse role with the opportunity to learn the administration and stock management that keep the business running. You’ll start by helping receive deliveries, pick orders and prepare goods for dispatch, then develop your skills in stock control, ordering, courier bookings and more.

A full UK driving licence and your own transport are required due to the location.

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Operative

  • Receive and check deliveries, and put stock away accurately.
  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Help keep the warehouse organised and support stock checks.
  • Learn to receive goods and maintain stock records using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Develop skills in ordering stock, booking courier consignments and other operations administration.

What we’re looking for in the Warehouse Operative

  • A reliable, practical person who takes pride in getting things right.
  • Confidence using computers and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Good attention to detail, organisation and teamwork.
  • Experience with Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 360.
  • Enthusiasm to learn the products and grow within the business.

Previous warehouse or stores experience would be helpful, but attitude and willingness to learn matter just as much. Counterbalance forklift experience or a licence would be an advantage.
