About The Role
Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts seeks a Warehouse Operative for a temporary assignment in Midlothian, EH22 2NE. This full-time post offers £12.71 hourly, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 until 16:00, starting as soon as possible for one week with possible extension. Duties include breaking down pallets, checking and recording items, storing products, loading and unloading, plus supporting production. Applicants must be reliable, hardworking, and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling. The successful candidate will follow health and safety procedures and keep the working area clean and organised.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1 week, with possible extension
Pertemps are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy team in Midlothian on a temporary assignment.
This is a hands-on role involving general warehouse and production duties. Please note that this position involves heavy lifting and manual handling.
The Role
- Breaking down pallets and handling stock
- Recording and checking items accurately
- Storing products safely and efficiently
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
- Supporting production activities as required
- Loading, unloading, and moving stock
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
- Following health and safety procedures
- Assisting with other duties as required

Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Reliable and punctual
- Good attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Flexible approach to duties
