Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)

45 hours a week; Monday – Friday only between 9pm and 7am. This is a night shift pattern. Please do not apply if you are not available to work these hours.

Our client is a rapidly growing company operating in the omnichannel space, supplying products to various sectors, including e-commerce, plumbers' merchants, bathroom showrooms, and other retailers. The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and store incoming stock accurately.
  • Pick products according to orders and prepare them for shipping.
  • Pack products securely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Counterbalance Forklift Licenses Trained / Articulated Trained individuals are also ideal, and there is an increased salary to those with these skills (if you have experience with the Counterbalance or Articulated but your license has lapsed, they can renew it in-house). Articulated Truck Drivers (Bendi / Flexi), etc. are preferred.
  • 45 hours a week; Monday – Friday only between 9pm and 7am. This is a night shift pattern.
  • A valid right to work in the UK.
  • Living within a realistic travel distance of the warehouse.
