Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a new challenge? Or perhaps you’re looking for an opportunity to grow your career within logistics?

Here at GXO Screwfix, we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join us at our site in Runcorn. From picking and packing to dispatching orders, you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support the day-to-day warehouse operation by carrying out inbound, outbound, and stock control activities
  • Pick and pack products accurately for retail delivery orders, handling stock with care and a high level of attention to detail
  • Work efficiently and flexibly to meet operational KPIs and targets, both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment by following all Safe Systems of Work, Standard Operating Procedures, and hygiene requirements

  • An annual salary of £26,812.50 + Night Premium

  • Holiday Days: 31 days per year (inclusive of Bank Holidays) – increases to a maximum of 33 over time

What you’ll need to succeed at GXO:

  • Any experience within a warehouse setting is advantageous but NOT essential
  • Worked independently and as part of a team to achieve KPIs and targets effectively
  • To understand the importance of delivering excellent customer service
  • Worked in a fast-paced environment where a high-volume workload must be achieved
  • Can show initiative and provide solutions to their team to work more effectively
