About The Role

This night shift role in Cumbernauld suits those seeking ongoing full-time hours with immediate starts. Working 6pm until up to 3am, the Warehouse Operative - NIGHTS handles picking, packing, and goods movement. Pay is £13.63 per hour Monday to Friday, rising to £14.75 at weekends and up to £15.86 after 40 hours, with rates increasing following a twelve-week probation. A festive bonus offers potential extra earnings of £900 through December, paid weekly rather than deferred. Weekly overtime is available. Free parking and a subsidised canteen are provided, and permanent contracts may be offered to suitable candidates.

As a Warehouse Operative You Will Be

  • Picking food products using a top voice pick system for a well-known supermarket.
  • Working in a chilled and ambient environment.
  • Breaking down and allocating goods.
  • Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager.
  • Other duties which may include heavy lifting.

The Ideal Warehouse Operative Will Have

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Must have a good attention to detail.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable.
  • Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines.
  • Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
