About the role:

InPost is seeking experienced Warehouse Operative's to join our dynamic Parcel Sorting Team at our Carlisle depot. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a leading company in the parcel delivery industry, renowned for supporting some of the UK’s most prominent high street and online brands.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling parcels within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize sorting workflows and meet daily targets, helping to drive the success of our logistics operations.

📍 Location: Inpost Unit D Kings Drive, Kingmoor Park South, Carlisle, CA6 4RD

📅 Shift Pattern: x1 - Monday - Friday & x1 Tuesday - Saturday

🕒 Hours: 03.00am - 11.30am

💰 Salary: £13.22p/h

What you’ll be doing:

  • Versatile Warehouse Support – Take on various roles within the warehouse to ensure seamless support for the distribution process.
  • Parcel Sorting & Relabelling – Efficiently sort and relabel parcels to maintain smooth operational flow.
  • Manual & Machine Operations – Sort parcels manually or operate machinery to optimize processing.
  • General Warehouse Duties – Contribute to the overall efficiency and organization of warehouse operations.
  • Team Collaboration – Work effectively within a collaborative team environment to achieve shared goals.
  • Loading & Unloading – Assist with the loading and unloading of goods to ensure timely delivery and order fulfilment.

  • Right to Work in the UK – Must be legally authorized to work in the UK.
  • Team Collaboration – A strong ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability – A proactive, flexible approach to tasks, with the ability to adapt to changing demands.
