Warehouse Operative (Part Time)

Summary Of Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Exeter on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer service.

You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring products are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while contributing to a safe and organized working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Receive and check incoming deliveries against relevant documentation.
  • Safely load and unload vehicles as required.
  • Store products correctly within designated warehouse locations.
  • Carry out stock checks and assist with inventory management activities.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational targets.

Experience And Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of picking, packing, or goods-in/goods-out processes would be beneficial.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

  • Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
  • Manual handling experience.
