Warehouse Operative PPT & FLT

Kinetic are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work for a large food manufacturer based in Ashton-under-Lyne. You must be able to work 2pm-10pm and have a valid FLT AND PPT licence.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting the movement, storage and preparation of products and materials.

Role:

  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Moving stock and materials around the warehouse using a PPT
  • Operating an FLT to move and store products safely
  • Picking and preparing products for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading pallets
  • Palletising and wrapping products
  • Completing warehouse paperwork and documentation
  • Carrying out stock checks and quality checks
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures
  • Working as part of a team while also using your own initiative
  • Working to targets and maintaining a consistent pace

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience - essential
  • Valid FLT licence - essential
  • Previous PPT experience - essential
  • Good English communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Ability to read instructions and complete required documentation
  • Good numerical skills
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and safely in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Ability to follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors
  • Ability to follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times
  • Good team-player attitude
