Warehouse Operative Healthxchange – Reading
Compensation & Hours £28,100 - £29,000 per annum Fixed working hours:
- 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Shift timings: 7:00am – 6:00pm
- No part-time roles or visa sponsorship available

About the Role
This Warehouse Operative role ensures the seamless handling of inventory—from reception and storage to accurate order fulfilment. Responsibilities include:
- Managing warehouse operations
- Operating machinery (including forklifts)
- Using an ERP system to track and record stock
- Prioritising safety, organisation, and efficiency at all times
Main Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy & Compliance
- Achieve 99%+ accuracy in picking and packing sales orders
- Verify and correctly label all orders to avoid returns and maintain GDPR compliance
- Process returned orders following internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Stock Management
- Enter and track inventory data via ERP system
- Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies
- Adhere to FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) procedures for storage
- Maintain and reconcile daily inventory accuracy files
- Carry out weekly stock counts and cycle audits
Organisation & Logistics
- Replenish stock at pick locations and keep areas tidy
- Arrange storage racks to optimise space while ensuring safety
- Handle manual lifting (up to 25kg) and operate a Forklift/LLTW for larger units
- Work across hot and variable-temperature environments as required
Workplace Safety & Health
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a housekeeping-standard warehouse
- Promote an environment of cleanliness, orderliness, and efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
Core Competencies

Technical Experience
🔹 Experience with ERP systems (preferred but not compulsory) 🔹 Valid forklift/LLTW certification (essential)
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (A–C/9–4)* achieved, including:
- English
- Maths
- One IT-related subject (or equivalent computer literacy)
