Ontic - Warehouse Operative
Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Warehouse Operative [6 month fixed term contract] where you'll support us in the sufficient running of the Stores function. This role will be based at our Bolton Site.

The Role:
As a member of the Stores Team, you will report to our Stores Line Manager. As part of our dedicated team, you will be involved in running the Stores function and ensuring correct procedures are carried out in the storage and issue of materials.
As part of this varied role, you will:
- Issue materials in line with agreed procedures to meet production and customer requirements.
- Kitting of work orders to Shop Floor.
- Maintain accurate stock records on the ERP system by carrying out regular stock control as required.
- Pick and issue stock according to pick lists and maintain stock rotation whilst following stock location procedures.
HSE and Quality regulations are adhered to at all times.
Essentially, you will also be providing general support to the Stores Manager and Stores team, undertaking a variety of tasks as allocated. As we work in a highly regulated sector, adhering to legislation and governing employment is critical, including health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, quality assurance, ensuring compliance with statutory and local policies and procedures.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a good standard of education – to include English and Maths at GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) minimum. However, if you do not have the necessary academic achievements, we will consider background experience and essential criteria that match the role.
