Warehouse Operative (Service Centre)

Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Operative (Service Centre) to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

The Company

Would you like to work for one of the UK’s leading hand, power tool, and equipment distributors? Established since 1978, Sealey are the preferred choice for the trade within the automotive, agricultural, motorcycle, industrial and engineering market sectors.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities as our Warehouse Operative (Service Centre) will include:

  • Unloading containers from suppliers by hand
  • Putting away bulk stock
  • Picking and packing orders for despatch
  • Loading packed consignments by hand from the conveyor into a stand trailer
  • Stock housekeeping - re-locating stock, tidying picking locations, etc.

Working Hours

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.

What We’re Looking For

What we’re looking for in our Warehouse Operative (Service Centre):

  • You must be reliable and flexible in your approach to work
  • Numerate and literate, with good attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well in small teams
  • Experience is not necessary as training will be provided but willingness to learn and to work as a team
