Are you looking for a long-term opportunity with a well-established engineering company? We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy stores department based in the Tendring/Manningtree area. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for stock control, goods in and goods out, while supporting the wider aftercare and service team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, enjoys a varied workload and is looking for a temp-to-perm position.

Duties Will Include
- Booking goods in and goods out
- Maintaining accurate stock levels within the stores department
- Picking and packing spare parts for Service Engineers
- Ordering stock and spare parts when required
- Processing purchase orders, invoices and customer payments using SAGE
- Supporting customers with spare parts enquiries
- Keeping the warehouse and stores area clean, organised and well maintained
- Providing occasional office administration support and answering telephone calls
- Working in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous warehouse or stores experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided
- Knowledge of Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain processes preferred
- Good communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good timekeeping and a positive attitude
- Basic IT skills, with Microsoft Office experience being advantageous
