Role Overview
We are looking for a Grade 2 Warehouse Operative to be based at our Northampton GP3 site (NN4 5FB).
As a Grade 2 Warehouse Operative, you will support the effective running of the warehouse operation within your assigned customer contract. This will involve working within a highly regulated environment, so previous experience working within this type of operation is desirable.
We are offering a salary of £29,878.57 per annum. This role is working Monday – Friday on the day shift (10am – 6pm).
Key Responsibilities
- As directed, safely handle products through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to.
- Follow all Health and Safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report concerns to the Site Manager.
- Appropriate use of MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) as directed and in accordance with training.
- Efficient reporting of near misses and incidents/accidents via company processes.
- Conduct H&S briefings where required to the warehouse team.
- Ensure an excellent standard of quality and compliance is upheld within all areas of the operation for quality and audit purposes.
- Monitoring that all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure and following up accordingly if required.
- Ensure any concerns, issues, or variances are communicated immediately to the Site Manager, to allow the appropriate action to be taken in a swift manner.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Proven experience working within a warehouse environment.
- MHE licenses are highly desirable (particularly VNA, Reach Truck, or Counterbalance). This role will require willingness to be trained on VNA and PPT.
- Good communication and customer service skills, as this role will require liaising with the customer directly.
- Good general IT skills and ideally experience using warehouse management systems – training will be provided where required.
- Awareness of manual handling techniques.
- High attention to detail.
