Warehouse Operative - Avonmouth

About The Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy Avonmouth distribution centre.
This is a hands-on, physical role in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork and efficiency are essential. You’ll play a key role in ensuring stock is received, stored, picked and shipped correctly to support our global operations.
Unlike many warehouse roles, this position offers consistent Monday to Friday hours (8am–5pm) no shifts, no weekends, providing a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and booking in deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality
- Moving, organising and storing stock using manual handling or lifting equipment
- Picking orders from main warehouse and mezzanine (small bin picking) areas
- Preparing and dispatching shipments to meet tight deadlines
- Carrying out stock control activities including checks, put-aways and stock movements
- Operating handling equipment (manual, electric, forklifts – training provided if needed)
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation across the warehouse
- Using warehouse systems and IT tools to ensure stock accuracy
- Working safely and in line with all Health & Safety procedures

What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred (ideally within stock control or dispatch)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Basic IT skills and willingness to learn warehouse systems
- Forklift experience is an advantage, but not essential (training provided)
