Join the team keeping M&S stocked this summer

We’re growing our warehouse team in Lenziemill, Cumbernauld, and looking for hardworking Warehouse Operatives to support our busy M&S operation.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced chilled warehouse environment where you’ll play an important part in keeping products moving safely and efficiently through the supply chain.

Shift & Pay Details

  • 40 hours per week
  • Any 5 from 7 rotating pattern
  • 09:30-18:00
  • 24 hours per week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 09:30-18:00
  • £13.3759 per hour increasing to £13.6120 after 6 months
  • Overtime and unsocial/weekend premiums - up to £18.0575 per hour / £18.3762 per hour
  • Seasonal Christmas bonus of up to £1,118.00 for working the required hours

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Picking and scanning stock using voice technology
  • Moving goods through the warehouse from intake to dispatch
  • Working safely and efficiently in a chilled warehouse environment
  • Following health & safety procedures at all times
  • Maintaining accuracy and productivity standards
  • Working as part of a busy warehouse team

Full PPE is provided.

What We’re Looking For

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, ideally within a fast-paced or chilled environment, although full training will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing

Our warehouses are at the heart of the M&S Food supply chain. As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll help make sure the right products get to the right place at the right time.

Depending On The Operation, Your Day Could Include:

  • Picking and preparing stock for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Scanning and checking products
  • Moving goods safely through the warehouse
  • Using voice picking technology
  • Maintaining accuracy and productivity standards
  • Following health and safety procedures
  • Working closely with your team to keep the operation moving
