Weekend Warehouse Operative
We’re currently recruiting for a Weekend Warehouse Operative to join either our team in Hurn or Christchurch. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for regular weekend work in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment.
What You’ll Do
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play an important part in making sure our clients’ orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time. You’ll be responsible for:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately using handheld scanning technology.
- Processing orders efficiently and ensuring any specific customer requirements are met.
- Preparing and dispatching orders in line with agreed delivery standards.
- Handling stock carefully and helping to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
- Working with your team to achieve daily targets and operational SLAs.
- Keeping your working area clean, safe, and well organised.
- Following warehouse processes, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
- Using PPE, equipment, and machinery safely and correctly.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in doing a good job. You’ll ideally have:

- Good attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- The ability to work at pace while maintaining high standards.
- A team-focused attitude and willingness to support others.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- A strong awareness of health and safety.
- A reliable and professional approach.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, but not essential.

Working Pattern
- 08:30am-17:30pm
- Saturday & Sunday
- 8 hours per week
Pay
- £11.00 per hour – aged under 21
- £12.71 per hour – aged 21 and over
