About The Role
This contract position as a Warehouse Operative with FLT, based in Woodhouse, offers £13.50 per hour through Pertemps Sheffield. Working Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30, the successful candidate will combine picking and packing duties with forklift operation. Responsibilities include preparing items for dispatch, loading and unloading deliveries, moving stock around the warehouse and yard, plus general upkeep tasks. Applicants must hold a valid FLT licence and demonstrate the ability to work independently, using initiative to manage their own workload without constant supervision. The role starts immediately and continues on an ongoing basis. Own transport is beneficial given the location.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our client’s operation in Sheffield.
The Role
- Picking and packing orders within the warehouse
- Preparing materials and products for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Operating a Forklift Truck when required
- Moving stock safely around the warehouse and yard
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
- Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean, tidy and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working independently and managing your own workload
About You
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Valid FLT certificate/licence
- Previous FLT experience is required, although FLT duties will only make up part of the working week
- Comfortable with picking, packing and general warehouse duties
- Happy to get stuck in and help wherever required
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and use your own initiative
- Comfortable being left to work on your own without constant supervision
- Organised and able to manage your workload effectively
- Comfortable working both inside the warehouse and outdoors when required
- Looking for an ongoing temporary position
