Location: Crewe
Temporary-to-Permanent Position (12 Week Temporary)
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour (initial 12 weeks temporary), rising to £14.34 per hour once permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotating 3 On / 4 Off – 4 On / 3 Off
Manufacturing Environment
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative with FLT to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in Crewe.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a role offering a structured rotating shift pattern, regular weekend work, and a competitive hourly rate of £14.34 per hour.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the smooth and efficient running of warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position will involve general warehouse duties alongside the safe operation of FLT equipment.

Typical responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, moving, and storing goods
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Transporting stock and materials around the site
- Maintaining accurate stock movement
- Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures
Shift Pattern
You will work a 3 On / 4 Off – 4 On / 3 Off rotating shift pattern, including weekends.
The Rota Operates Across Two Shift Times:
- 06:00 – 17:30
- 10:30 – 22:00
Candidates should therefore be comfortable working both shift times as part of the rota and be available for regular weekend working.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a valid UK driving licence and a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
A valid Reach Truck licence and/or PPT A1 licence would be highly desirable, although these are not essential.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious individual who is comfortable working within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous, along with a positive attitude, good attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Licences required: Driving Licence & Counterbalance FLT
Desirable: Reach Truck & PPT A1
