Warehouse Operative

Location: Lees of Scotland, Coatbridge

Shift: 06:45 – 15:15 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 15:30 Friday

Hourly Rate: £13.95

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse Team at Lees, part of the Finsbury Food Group.

Finsbury Food Group is a leading speciality bakery manufacturer. We constantly raise quality and efficiency standards and build long-term relationships with major multiple retailers and the food service channel. Lees, a household Scottish brand, has been crafting iconic confectionery and meringues since 1931. Our snowballs, teacakes, and meringues are more than just sweets – they’re edible nostalgia, woven into the fabric of Scottish culture.

This is what you’ll actually do!

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our warehouse operation, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles efficiently and safely
  • Physically handling and scanning stock/materials using handheld scanners
  • Putting stock away and updating relevant system
  • Picking stock for work orders and processing goods from pick lists
  • Completing accurate paperwork to match goods picked and delivered
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and traceability
  • Ensuring proper stock rotation and upholding GMP standards
  • Prioritising and promoting Health & Safety compliance at all times

Ideally this is you!

  • Valid Forklift Truck and PPT licence is desired but not essential as training can be provided
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Confident working with numbers and systems such as Infor M3
  • Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
  • High attention to detail – accuracy with stock and paperwork is key
  • Health & Safety conscious, with a commitment to safe working practices
  • Willingness to adapt to different tasks and support across the team
  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe at all times
