The Sika Dunstable Warehouse is an important part of Sika UK’s supply chain, supporting the efficient storage, handling and distribution of products to customers across the UK. The warehouse team plays a key role in ensuring products are available when needed and that customer orders are processed accurately, safely and efficiently.
The team is focused on maintaining high standards of health and safety, service, quality and operational efficiency, while continually looking for ways to improve processes and performance. Working collaboratively across the warehouse and wider business, the team contributes directly to Sika’s commitment to delivering reliable service and meeting the needs of its customers.
Job Description
Purpose of the Role
The primary role of a Warehouse Operative is to carry out warehouse activities, picking and packing, put-away and other designated warehouse tasks.
We have positions available on all three of our shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.

The Opportunity:
- Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse by ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, checked and dispatched accurately and safely, helping to maintain a reliable flow of products to customers.
- Work as part of a collaborative warehouse team, maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping, accuracy and productivity while following company procedures and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Play an important role in delivering excellent customer service by ensuring orders are prepared correctly and on time, stock is handled responsibly, and warehouse activities support the wider business and supply chain objectives.

The Skills:
- The role will include site-specific training on warehouse systems, processes and equipment, alongside ongoing development in health and safety, product knowledge and operational procedures. Further training and development opportunities will be provided as required to support the individual in becoming fully competent and confident in the role.

Qualifications
What we need from you?
- FLT Reach & Counterbalance certified – minimum 1yr experience
- Health & Safety awareness
- Proactive and positive approach to customer service
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, organised and able to work effectively to deadlines
