About The Role
Warehouse Operatives - Nights are sought for ongoing full time positions in Thatcham, starting at 6pm with flexible hours available. Pay ranges from £14.52 per hour Monday to Friday, rising to £15.70 at weekends and on bank holidays. Premium rates apply beyond forty weekly hours and for weekend work, with regular overtime during peak periods plus bonuses reaching £1000 in December. Duties include picking food products via a voice pick system for a well-known supermarket. Immediate starts are offered, alongside free parking, a subsidised canteen, and potential permanent contracts for suitable candidates.

Duties
As a Warehouse Operative you will be:
- Picking food products using a top voice pick system for a well-known supermarket
- Working in a chilled and ambient environment
- Breaking down and allocating goods
- Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager
- Other duties which may include heavy lifting

Requirements
The ideal Warehouse Operative will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided
- Must have a good attention to detail
- Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable
- Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines
- Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
