Role Overview and Responsibilities
Join our fast-paced warehouse team and play a vital role in keeping our operation moving.
We're looking for a proactive and organised Warehouse Operative to support goods-in, picking, packing, dispatch, inventory control, and production kitting activities. You'll be at the heart of the operation, ensuring materials and products are received, stored, processed, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Receiving and checking inbound deliveries, ensuring accuracy against delivery documentation.
- Safely unloading and loading vehicles using appropriate equipment.
- Processing goods receipts, inventory movements, and shipments through SAP.
- Picking, packing, labelling, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Carrying out quality and accuracy checks to ensure customers receive the right products, every time.
- Supporting production through component allocation and kitting activities.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and warehouse locations in SAP.
- Issuing materials and documentation in support of manufacturing operations.
- Working closely with freight providers and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with 5S and health & safety standards.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or stores environment.
- Experience using SAP or a similar warehouse management system would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to health, safety, and maintaining high operational standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Core Requirements
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail, Computer skills literate.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience working in Warehouse and Distribution and Logistics (Freight Management) Role.
- SAP R3 Business Systems Experience.
- NVQ in Stores Operation or Equivalent Experience.
- ‘Lean’ Manufacturing / 5S Training would be beneficial but is not essential.
