We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operator to join the Supply Chain & Logistics team at Coppice Group. Working across one of our warehouse operations in Blackmill, Tonypandy or Dinas, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
You'll help ensure stock remains accurate and fully traceable, materials are available to production when required, and customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time. This is a hands-on operational role where safety, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential.
Working Hours & Locations
Warehouse Operators will normally be assigned to one primary Coppice Group site:
- Coppice Alupack – Blackmill
- Sirane – Tonypandy
- Group Warehouse – Dinas
Shift patterns may include rotating 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 shifts, fixed 22:00–06:00 night shifts, or fixed day shifts. Your specific shift pattern and primary location will be confirmed at appointment.
Occasional travel to other Group locations may be required.
A Day in the Life
You'll be responsible for receiving and storing materials, picking and dispatching goods, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring products are handled correctly throughout the warehouse. You'll operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, carry out equipment checks, and report any issues promptly.
Working closely with Warehouse, Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams, you'll help keep operations running smoothly while identifying opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and warehouse performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
