Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Operator role based in Smarden. The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for:

- Receiving and unloading deliveries
- Checking goods against documentation
- Ensuring accurate storage and labeling of products

Day-to-day tasks include:
- Preparing and packing orders for shipment
- Operating material handling equipment and forklifts
- Organizing inventory to maintain an efficient and orderly warehouse
The role also involves:
- Following health and safety procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness in work areas
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet dispatch deadlines and support smooth warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Practical warehouse skills, including unloading and material handling, with attention to accuracy and care.
- Experience in packing and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring products are correctly labeled and secured.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; forklift certification is an advantage.
- Strong awareness of health & safety standards and willingness to follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Good organizational skills, reliability, and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for handling documentation, stock counts, and order records.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is beneficial.
