Role Description

The Warehouse Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kilrea, responsible for ensuring efficient movement and storage of goods within the warehouse. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Receiving and unloading deliveries
  • Checking goods against documentation
  • Organizing products in designated storage areas
  • Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Loading vehicles
  • Handling materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts where required

The Warehouse Operator maintains a clean, safe working environment, follows all health and safety procedures, and collaborates with colleagues to support store operations and timely customer deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Strong material handling skills, including experience with unloading and organizing stock
  • Packing and order preparation skills to ensure accurate and secure dispatch of goods
  • Proven forklift operation skills, with relevant certification preferred
  • Solid knowledge of health & safety practices in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail distribution environments is beneficial
  • Ability to lift and move goods safely, use basic warehouse tools, and follow standard operating procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, time management, and teamwork skills
  • Basic numeracy and literacy for handling stock records and delivery documentation
