Job Description:
A great opportunity has been raised within Satair UK (an Airbus Service Company) to develop yourself and your career.
Due to recent planned operational development, a new opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Warehouse Operative to lead & support our growing warehouse team near London Heathrow Airport.
This role will be working hours listed below (Working Hours / shifts), with the right candidates having a background experience within a highly driven team environment with knowledge in aviation logistics, warehouse operations, Continuous improvement, high level quality awareness, 5S, and have at least 3 years’ experience of operations within a fast moving 24/7/365 environment.
The right candidates will have knowledge of Dangerous goods, Known Consignor, Export control, Health & Safety, possible VNA, Counterbalance & reach truck forklift experience. Preferably EASA part 145 Inspection.
Furthermore, the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent service levels, and an ability to be coached & develop as part of an effective team to strive to delight customers by their commitment, quality and attention to detail.
It should be noted that a good knowledge of Aerospace & the Aviation industry would be useful but not essential. It is your skills, experiences to date and abilities, which will make you, stand out as the right candidate.

Expected previous first hand knowledge:
- Goods Inspection of aircraft parts along with Quality control and Quarantine processes
- Storage, Picking, Packing & shipping of goods
- Data entry through computer systems for parts movement Inbound & Outbound
- Perpetual inventory / Cycle count stock checking with data entry
- Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint in support of operational functions
- Compliance with strict Health & Safety guidelines in a highly focussed 5S driven warehouse environment
Working Hours / shifts:
- Night shift patterns starting at 6pm to 6am 4 on 4 off
- Annual leave is set at 20 x 12 hr holidays per calendar year
