Are you looking for an opportunity to start a career? Would you like to learn how to use the range of equipment and vehicles commonly used in a warehouse? If so, Essity’s Warehouse Operator apprenticeship will help equip you with the skills and knowledge to develop a long-lasting career.

At Essity we manufacture and sell products that are used every day, we break taboos and challenge convention, all with the intention of breaking down barriers to health and well-being globally.

In the UK we own and manufacture many leading brands, including Cushelle toilet tissue and Plenty kitchen roll. To support the manufacture of these essential products our supply chain teams work hard to ensure the teams have access to the right raw materials at the right time and that finished goods are ready for despatch.

About The Role

Join Essity as a Warehouse Operator Apprentice and over 14 months you will have the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge in all supply chain warehouse functions including unloading, picking, dispatch and stock control. Combined with this you will learn how to safely operate the machinery on site, interact with customers and understand how technology supports the operation of a warehouse.

You will work Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 3.00pm.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
