Role Description The Warehouse Operator is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Leicester Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts where required, and following all health and safety procedures. The position also includes:

  • Keeping work areas clean and organized
  • Collaborating with colleagues
  • Reporting any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety

Qualifications

  • Strong material handling skills, including safe unloading of goods and efficient movement of stock
  • Experience with packing, order preparation, and basic warehouse documentation
  • Competent forklift operation skills with a valid certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Sound understanding of Health & Safety practices in a warehouse or industrial environment
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Ability to perform physically active work, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting is beneficial but not essential
