About the Role
ProAmpac is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Melbourn site. This is a hands-on warehouse position supporting the safe and efficient movement of materials and finished goods across the site. Due to the equipment used within our warehouse, applicants must have a valid Bendi/Flexi/Pivot Forklift Truck licence and relevant operating experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Bendi/Flexi/Pivot forklift trucks safely within the warehouse.
- Pick and prepare orders accurately.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Move pallets and stock safely around the site.
- Support goods-in and goods-out activities.
- Maintain accurate stock movements and records.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene.
- Work safely and follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Work towards daily warehouse requirements and deadlines.
- Support other warehouse and operational activities when required.

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Valid Bendi/Flexi/Pivot Forklift Truck licence.
- Recent experience operating a Bendi/Flexi/Pivot forklift.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Experience loading and unloading vehicles.
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Able to reliably commute to Melbourn, Royston (SG8 6DN).

Desirable:
- Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck experience.
- Experience within manufacturing or production.
- Experience using warehouse management or stock-control systems.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00
