Description
Impact Recruitment are recruiting for a Despatch & Quality Control Assistant to join our client, a well-established Northampton-based business supplying premium products worldwide.
This is an excellent opportunity for an efficient, enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join a successful and growing E-commerce team. The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team, takes pride in their work and has a genuine interest in delivering a high-quality service.
Salary: £27,000 per annum + discretionary annual bonus of up to £2,000
Hours: Mon-Fri 0830-1630
Employment: Permanent
Location: Northampton
What You'll Be Doing
- Picking and packing high-quality products for customers.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels throughout the department.
- Carrying out quality control checks on products before despatch.
- Correcting minor issues where possible.
- Ensuring products are handled carefully and presented to the required standard.
- Using despatch systems and order management software to process customer orders.
- Preparing shipments using systems such as DHL shipping.
- Following company procedures to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Keeping managers informed of any issues to minimise problems.
- Supporting the team to ensure the department remains safe, secure and organised.

What We're Looking For
- Attention to detail is a must. Quality control is an integral part of the despatch department.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of concentration.
- Good IT literacy and confidence using computer systems.
- A proactive and process-driven approach to work.
- A positive can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
- Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining high standards.
- Good communication skills and a personable approach.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
- Comfortable working within a small team environment.
