Industrial Wiper Company Limited is a small, family-run business based in Leicestershire and has been established for over 40 years. The company manufactures competitively priced textile wiping rags and cleaning cloths for a wide range of industries. Its product range includes lint-free cloths designed for environments where cleanliness and precision are essential. Team members join a close-knit organization that values reliability, quality, and long-term relationships with customers.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Warehouse Person role based in Leicester. The Warehouse Person will be responsible for receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials, as well as picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. Daily tasks include maintaining tidy and safe warehouse areas, organizing stock, and assisting with basic inventory counts. The role may also involve loading and unloading deliveries, using manual handling equipment, and working closely with other team members to meet order deadlines. Flexibility to support general warehouse duties as needed is expected.

  • Ability to perform general warehouse tasks, including receiving goods, picking orders, packing, and dispatch.
  • Basic inventory and stock control skills, with attention to accuracy in counting and labeling.
  • Good manual handling ability and awareness of safe lifting and workplace safety practices.
  • Strong reliability, time management, and ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a small team environment.
  • Willingness to learn product types (e.g., lint-free cloths, textile rags) and handle materials appropriately.
  • Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential; training can be provided.
  • Ability to stand, move, and carry items for extended periods in an on-site warehouse setting in Leicester.
