Location: Newry, Northern Ireland
Contract: Temporary Contract, 35 hours a week
Start Date: As soon as possible

About us:

Since 2007, we’ve grown from a small Irish start-up into the global leader in GPS performance tracking, trusted by the world’s biggest clubs, leagues, and athletes. Our technology sits at the intersection of hardware, software, and sport, helping teams optimise performance, reduce injury risk, and unlock insights that were previously impossible.

But just as importantly, our products support the next generation of athletes, from academies to grassroots, giving them access to the same performance tools as the pros.

Innovation has always driven us forward, and it’s our people who make that happen.

The opportunity:

We are looking for a flexible, cross-functional Operations & QA Specialist to join our team. This unique role offers the chance to move between the Warehouse team during peak seasons and our QA and Operations teams for the remainder of the year. Designed as a key development opportunity, you will gain genuine visibility across multiple parts of the business, building a broader skill set than a single-function role would allow.

If you are proactive, adaptable, and excited by a role where no two seasons are the same, this is your chance to learn, contribute widely, and become a versatile, go-to member of the STATSports team.

What you’ll be doing:

Warehouse Team – Peak Season:

  • Pick, pack, and process orders to meet daily operational targets.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring stock is stored accurately and safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace and follow all health & safety procedures.
  • Work as part of the warehouse team to hit production and dispatch schedules during high-demand periods.

QA / Operational Teams:

  • Perform functional testing on STATSports hardware and accurately record results.
  • Support new and returned product management, including firmware updates, device set-up, and configuration.
  • Help troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and document root causes.
  • Support smooth movement of stock between warehouse locations, working closely with QA and Operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate records using NAV ERP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Rotate into other Operations-adjacent projects as required, gaining exposure to different parts of the business.
  • Familiarise yourself with, and fully comply with, STATSports quality standards and all Company Health & Safety policies.
  • Actively participate in daily team briefings for whichever team you're supporting that period.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
