Warehouse Section Manager (12-month FTC)

We are looking for a Warehouse Section Manager (12-month FTC) to join our M&S site in Thorncliffe. You’ll lead your team to achieve business goals, maximising productivity and efficiency whilst focusing on continuous improvement and colleague wellbeing.
Job Details
- Position: Warehouse Section Manager (12-month FTC)
- Location: M&S site in Thorncliffe
- Shift Pattern: 'any 5 from 7' day shift pattern, 14:00 – 22:00
- Type: Full-time
Pay, Benefits, and More
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000.00 per annum (depending upon experience)
- Annual Leave: 33 days (inclusive of bank holidays), option to buy additional days

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
- Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse in your area
- Lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve targets
- Pro-actively support the site and customer’s continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a creative atmosphere where ideas and improvements can be harnessed
- Ensure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies and accurately identify risks
What You Need to Succeed at GXO
- Proven track record at a similar level, within a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to effectively lead, develop, and manage a team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success
- Excellent people skills
- Excellent H&S knowledge
