The role

We are looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead day-to-day operations across one of our warehouse sites. Reporting to the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will ensure that performance, safety, efficiency and client satisfaction are delivered to a high standard.

You will manage Section Managers, Supervisors and warehouse teams, maintaining strong communication with internal departments and clients. The role involves driving productivity, managing resources effectively and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Leading the warehouse operations to achieve service, quality and efficiency targets.
  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards and promoting a safe working culture.
  • Managing labour planning, productivity and costs to meet operational targets.
  • Reviewing data to identify and deliver performance and process improvements.
  • Maintaining close communication with Client Services to resolve issues and support client requirements.
  • Producing and presenting operational performance reports and KPI updates.
  • Ensuring all team members receive regular reviews and training.
  • Supporting new business implementation and client site visits.
  • Working collaboratively with the management team to share best practice and deliver site objectives.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally within a 3PL environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and performance management.
  • Financial awareness with experience managing labour and operational costs.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
  • Confident decision-maker with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Energetic, driven and committed to achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with WMS software (desirable).
  • Experience within fashion or beauty logistics (desirable).

Please be aware that the hours are 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
