Warehouse Shift Manager
Are you an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Shift Manager who enjoys leading from the front? As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a confident people leader to join our warehouse management team and help keep our operation running smoothly.

Your part in the Performance
You’ll manage the day-to-day operation of a busy warehouse department, leading a team of around 20 operatives, rising to up to 50 during peak periods. You’ll ensure daily targets are met, Health & Safety standards are upheld, and your team is supported, motivated, and developed.
Your day to day will include:
- Lead and develop a warehouse shift team
- Ensure operational targets and customer needs are met
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and compliance
- Support new starters and act as the first point of contact on shift
- Drive continuous improvement and lead by example

Required:
- Previous warehouse people management experience
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Good numeracy, literacy, and data analysis skills
- Confident using computer systems
- Solid Health & Safety knowledge (Risk Assessments, COSHH, SOPs)
- Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
- Hands-on, flexible, and team-focused
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Forklift experience
- Goods In or eCommerce experience
Shift Pattern
We are a 7-day operation with service hours between 06:00 and 23:00. This role works on a weekly rotating shift pattern, covering 5 days out of 7.
Shift Pattern:

Early Week (Rotation 1)
- Mostly 08:00 – 16:30 (Mon–Fri)
- Occasional 06:00 – 14:30 starts depending on operational needs
- Saturday: 08:30 – 17:00

Late Week (Rotation 2)
- 14:30 – 23:00 (Mon–Fri)
- Sunday: 08:30 – 17:00
Start times and rotation details will be fully discussed during the interview. During our peak times throughout October, November, and December, there may be a requirement to work additional hours, which is paid as overtime.
