Are you a night owl with a "can-do" attitude and an eye for detail? Do you have what it takes to keep things flowing when the rest of the world is dreaming?
At our Skelmersdale hub, we don’t just "tread water"—we’re a leading online bathroom retailer, and we’re looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to dive into the deep end and lead our Night Shift team. Whether it’s ensuring our baths are dispatched or making sure our Tiles department stays on solid ground, you’ll be the person keeping our operations from going down the drain.
The Package
- Base Salary: £32,246.82
- Night Premium: +£1.81 per hour (additional)
- The Shift: Wednesday-Saturday | 20:00 – 07:00
- Location: Sustainability Way, Leyland, PR26 6TB
The Role: What’s on the Tap?
You won't just be "glazing" over the details. As the Night Shift Manager, you are the primary custodian of our nocturnal cycle. You’ll lead a team of Team Leaders and Operatives to ensure every order is picked, packed, and dispatched with precision.
Your Daily (or Nightly) Splash Will Include
- Full Flow Management: Overseeing goods-in, replenishment, and dispatch. If a vehicle needs to leave, you’ll make sure it’s loaded and ready to roll.
- Tiling the Way: Managing our busy Tiles department, ensuring stock integrity and careful handling of our most fragile (and stylish) products.
- Keeping it Sparkling: Acting as the health and safety champion. You’ll ensure the warehouse is safe, compliant!
- Dynamic Leadership: Monitoring productivity in real-time, smashing KPIs (not tiles), and reallocating resources to fix any "leaks" in the workflow.
- People Power: Conducting briefings, managing rotas, and coaching your team to reach peak performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
