Position Summary
As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will play an important role in leading warehouse operations and supporting a team of warehouse colleagues through the night shift to achieve operational goals safely and efficiently. Working closely with operational leaders and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure productivity, service, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the ongoing development of colleagues across the operation.

What You'll Do
- Lead and support warehouse shift teams to achieve operational, productivity, accuracy, and service objectives.
- Plan resources and labour effectively to ensure workloads are managed efficiently and business needs are met.
- Foster a positive team culture through regular communication, coaching, training, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across operations and support functions to identify improvements and resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, employment legislation, and company policies.
- Monitor operational performance, maintain accurate records, and support the achievement of key performance indicators.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, service, productivity, and colleague experience.

Qualifications
Who You Are:
- You have experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics, FMCG, or similar operational environment.
- You enjoy supporting and developing others, creating an inclusive environment where people feel valued and empowered.
- You are organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance operational priorities and resource planning effectively.
- You communicate clearly and build positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders at all levels.
- You have experience using Microsoft Office applications and are comfortable working with operational data and reporting tools.
- You take a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- You have an understanding of performance management, health and safety requirements, and operational compliance standards. Experience within a unionised environment or knowledge of employment legislation would be beneficial but is not essential.
